| 英文描述 | The mushroom Ramaria flavo-brunnescens, family Clavariacae (pictured in the article by Kommers et al.) is found exclusively in soils among Eucalyptus woods. Ingestion of this mushroom has caused disease in cattle and sheep, and the syndrome has been experimentally reproduced. An unusual finding with this poisoning is smoothness of the dorsum of the tongue caused by atrophy of the papillae. There can be loosening of the hooves, cornual portion of the horns, and hair on the tip of the tail (Kommers et al.). |
